Fatima at Equifest 1, July 09 (as 2 year old)

Fatima-C

Fate is our oldest Cradilo offspring and our only Cradilo 3 year old. She is out of June's First Star, a thoroughbred bred by Huntington Farms for sport. Bred to be an upper level jumper and looking like she will mature to 16.3 plus hands, this filly has it all.

She is large bodied, gorgeous, perfectly conformed and moves like a top hunter. She lives up to her name (meaning 'feminine curiousity') and has that 'look at me,' climb in to your lap, star quality presence. She is intelligent, and aims to please. Most strikingly, she seems to possess the intense confidence of her sire; a quality we believe above all else is the 'touch of gold' for an upper level jumper.

For her first shoeing, she stood perfectly still. And in recently learning to free jump, she actually started going to the start of the chute on her own and waiting for the signal to jump. This was only her second time free jumping! (see 4' free jumping video below)

Needless to say, we are expecting great things from this filly, and are certain given the opportunity she will prove her sire's strength as a top jumper producer. She will be sold to a serious show home only.

***Fatima went to her first show in July of 08. We hauled her 12 hours to the Horse Shows by the Bay A rated hunter/jumper show in Michigan, and she was spectacular. She was bathed, clipped, hauled and bridled for the first time, all within a week, and was incredibly easy. She also placed 2nd in the yearling hunter breeding in hand class. ***

***Fatima went to Equifest 1, in July of 2009, and was first in the two year old class. And again, she was wonderful on all training/management aspects.***

Quinlan-C

2009 Cradilo colt, Quinlan C

Quinlan is a 2009 yearling colt born May 14th by Cradilo out of Red Charisma. Quin is a true extravert, being one of the friendliest, pliable foals we've seen yet, as you can literally do anything with this colt. And he seems to have the lovely balance that is becoming typical of the Charm/Cradilo crosses ... big, strong, and yet the refinement and clear athletic finess of the thoroughbred.

C-Luna

C Luna and June's First Star

Luna is a 2009 yearling filly born May 12th by Cradilo out of June's First Star. This is a full sister to Fate and we are seeing strong resemblance. These are incredibly strong, healthy, impressive fillies from the moment they hit the ground. She is considerably larger than the other foals, has striking bone, balance and movement, and yet again, the refinement of the thoroughbred. Though she is a little shyer than her extravert half brother Quin, she is also very friendly and seeking a happy connection with people.

K-C-Grimes

Grimes as yearling

Grimes, by Cradilo out of Koganna, is a bay 2 year old gelding (June 2008). Though he isn't as large as the typical Cradilo foals (we hope he will mature to 16.1), he may be one of the most rarely bred sport horses in the country (mare is Akhal-Teke-Kogan/Westfalen-Puritano). We know of no other breeding farms in the world right now crossing the best of the Akhal-Teke and the Irish Draught.

He appears to have some fairly extraordinary characteristics, as he's beatifully balanced, and very athletic. He's refined, and yet seems to have that toughness and endurance that breeders like to see in strong competitive potentials. He has the noted exceptional temperament of the Akhal-Teke; extreme loyalty, and in the herd wants to be a natural baby-sitter. He is intelligent and grounded, yet sensitive.
